Our Values

Our goal is to provide excellent medical care in a welcoming environment.

We strive to build long-term, partnering relationships built on trust and mutual respect

We value the relationships with our families and enjoy caring for newborns through young adults

We believe in the prevention of disease and the promotion of healthy lifestyles for all children

We believe in the ethical practice of medicine, providing leadership throughout the community, and advocating for child health

We are committed to continuously educating ourselves and incorporating the best of technology to provide excellent care

Our Practice Philosophy

When selecting a pediatrician for your child, it is important to consider the fit between the medical practice’s philosophy and your own. The best care occurs when your pediatrician’s office is in line with your family values and perspectives regarding medical care. Please review our medical home management philosophy to determine if our office is the best choice for you and your family.

Vaccines

We believe in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent illness and save lives. We follow the vaccination schedule of the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are committed to keeping our patients and the community safe. We are open to answering your questions and providing information about the science behind immunizations.

Antibiotics

We work to limit the use of antibiotics when they are unnecessary. Overuse increases opportunities for vaccine resistant bacteria. Prescriptions for antibiotics will be written after an examination and a need for treatment is found.

Technology

There is no replacement for face-to-face contact. Use of technology assists our ability to send appointment reminders and address non-emergent matters. We encourage the use of your patient portal to address your needs.

After Hours Care

If your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency when the office is closed, we recommend calling 9-1-1 or going to the emergency department. Other health concerns that arise beyond business hours will be addressed and/or an appointment for evaluation will be scheduled.

Health Insurance

Before scheduling your first appointment, please ensure that our office accepts your health plan. Some plans require changing your Primary Care Provider (PCP) to our office first. All co-pays, if required by the health plan, are due at the time of service. Please bring your insurance card to each office appointment and keep us updated on changes.
