The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test is the best option for testing if you do not have symptoms (e.g. cough, fever, muscle aches, etc.) or have been in contact with someone that tested positive for COVID-19. The test is made to check for the presence of the virus. Rapid antigen tests are not as sensitive as PCR, and they are made best for testing when you have symptoms.
